The Clark Family {Dallas Portraits in Architecture}

Our Dallas skyline is absolutely incredible! Several years ago the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava, made it even more so. I love driving over the bridge in either direction over the Trinity River, especially at night with the top down on my car! The pedestrian Continental Avenue Bridge provides a fantastic view of this skyline architecture and also happens to be a fun spot for portraits. Definitely, a great location that you can even finish up at Trinity Groves for dinner or drinks after the shoot to make an evening of it!

A little while back, The Clarks and I took advantage of a beautiful, warm evening for their family portraits and the boys even enjoyed some climbing on the bridge's park structures. I love the warm light of the setting sun on their faces!  And if you are looking for ways to style your outfits, their oranges and blues with mixed solids and patterns were fantastic!

Tracy Allyn Photography is now booking sessions for spring. Contact the studio to talk about your session, whether it be an urban location like the Clarks chose or in nature. Email, call 214.682.3965 or use the contact page.  Weekday and weekend sessions are available.

Matt, Sara, & Crew {Dallas Family Photographer}

When Sara and I talked on the phone about what she was looking for in a session she mentioned she wanted an urban location and the key thing she said was, "we're a crazy, fun family."  Ummmm... She wasn't kidding!  This crew was such a blast to photograph.  Matt, Sara, and the kids (Hollyn, Noah, & Hannah) were up for anything.  There was running, jumping, some tickling, and a little faux fighting.  Mix in some pure portraits and voila... A session we all loved.  At the end their perfectly styled selves were worn out and they relaxed... But that ham, Noah?  That eye open and thumb up was all him! Cracks me up.

Sathish, Geetha, Aryan, & Yuvan {Dallas Family Photographer}

Sathish, Geetha, Aryan, and Yuvan (little YoYo) blew me away with their styling at their family session in Downtown McKinney.  Even with an outfit change, everything went together so well and looked effortless!  Geetha and Sathish chose bright, bold colors and plaids for everyone.  They had a large space in their modern home in mind that they wanted to fill with lots of color to go on their white walls.  Success!  Their canvas collections and prints looked amazing!

It was so fun to see them again after their in studio session just six months before... Such a sweet crew!  Can't wait for the next shoot!

Sathish, Geetha, Aryan & Yuvan {Dallas Family Photographer}

I loved this family (saw then twice this year) and can't wait to share so many more from both shoots!  We shot a studio session when the baby was little itty bitty and then an urban session when he was just little bitty.  Can they do color & styling or what?!?
