The Clark Family {Dallas Portraits in Architecture}

Our Dallas skyline is absolutely incredible! Several years ago the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava, made it even more so. I love driving over the bridge in either direction over the Trinity River, especially at night with the top down on my car! The pedestrian Continental Avenue Bridge provides a fantastic view of this skyline architecture and also happens to be a fun spot for portraits. Definitely, a great location that you can even finish up at Trinity Groves for dinner or drinks after the shoot to make an evening of it!

A little while back, The Clarks and I took advantage of a beautiful, warm evening for their family portraits and the boys even enjoyed some climbing on the bridge's park structures. I love the warm light of the setting sun on their faces!  And if you are looking for ways to style your outfits, their oranges and blues with mixed solids and patterns were fantastic!

Tracy Allyn Photography is now booking sessions for spring. Contact the studio to talk about your session, whether it be an urban location like the Clarks chose or in nature. Email photos@tracyallyn.com, call 214.682.3965 or use the contact page.  Weekday and weekend sessions are available.

Lauren & Lindsey at White Rock Lake {Dallas Portrait Photographer}

I can never get enough of the evening sun when the leaves are changing! This late fall session with my two favorite redheads, Lauren and Lindsey, at White Rock Lake was everything I wanted it to be for the best season of the year. Shooting with my all-time favorite 85mm lens (if you don't have one, get one!) added to the softness of the background oranges, yellows, and greens. Seriously, I wish I could freeze this scene in time as our fall color is always so fleeting. Our beloved White Rock Lake offers so many things to our community, awesome photography locations just being one. Thank you, Mother Nature!

Grace - Class of 2015 {Dallas Senior Photographer}

Can you guess where this beautifully cool Dallas senior is going to college after she graduates from Hockaday next month?  She is heading across the pond to her favorite city of London!

Congratulations Grace!  I'm honored to have taken your senior pictures and can't wait to photograph your graduation.  Will share more from both shoots after the ceremony!

Brianna - Class of 2014 {Dallas Senior Photography}

School is starting... The summer flew by way too fast!  My Class of 2014 Tracy Allyn Photography seniors are all heading off to college and I wish them all the best of luck and loads of happiness!

Brianna is a gorgeous young lady who graduated from Allen High School this year.  I loved photographing her in the springtime.  And she is one of those natural beauties that a super windy day only led to more amazing photos.  I am so excited for her as she starts Texas A&M this fall... I won't even hold that against her, since I'm a UT fan, myself.   Go gig 'em, Brianna!

Children at the Sunset Lit Park {Dallas Child Photographer}

These kiddos were amazing!  I just adored their love of exploring, climbing, playing, and their love for each other.  The family couldn't meet until just about 45 minutes before sunset so I think, by far, this was the fastest session I have ever had!  But Elizabeth, Travis, and Zachary were eager to alternate between playing and posing and by the end of it I couldn't believe how many beautiful images we had.  We moved quickly and actually finished up in about 35 minutes!  Such sweet and beautiful kids... And it didn't hurt that the light was beautiful that day!
