This session is near and dear to my heart. My niece, Kelsey, and her boyfriend asked me to photograph them with their dogs a few weeks ago. Boo (the little white dog) has been a member of the family for quite some time. But the new redhead, Bogey (daddy, Brady is a golfer!) just joined them a few months ago. What I didn't know was that before they could even get their prints in, this couple would be engaged! They have been together since high school and all of these years later, we can't imagine Brady NOT becoming a part of the family! So happy for them both... Or all four of them!
Wishing you and yours a wonderfully peaceful holiday season. Merry Christmas from Tracy Allyn Photography and from me & my family. I hope you all enjoy time with your loved ones and snuggles by the fireplace!
Spring is nearly over, summer on the way, and Texas is coming into a week of sunshine after horrendous flooding. So what better way to celebrate this beautiful day than with a father / son moment? Yes, the torch has been passed and my husband is teaching my son to mow the lawn. Love.
It finally happened! I thought for sure we were going to make it through the entire winter without any snow in Dallas. But Friday delivered enough snow for us to get out and play in it for a little while. Take that groundhog! My husband, Rob, took our son out front on Saturday to make a snowman... But Campbell had other plans. Snowball fights are way more fun. And besides, the snow wasn't the best for packing and making an icy friend. Me? I held a camera so I would at least be slightly protected from being a target. Hey, I'm no dummy.
Last night was the first night of Cotillion for my son. Boys may not really WANT to sign up to put on a suit and dance with girls at this age... But I think my tween son, along with MANY of his friends, ended up having a really good time. This was the first time Campbell has actually worn a suit. He has worn a tie before... But that has been a black skinny tie with short sleeve edgy plaid shirt, jeans, and his standard checked Vans. I was a pretty proud mom when he stepped out of his room in his black suit and black & white gingham tie. But I still can't believe how fast he is growing up. Please make time stop!
