Fall Family Fun {Dallas Family Photographer}

Going back through some from the busy fall season and discovered that I had not blogged this one from some favorite repeat clients, Stacie & Trent and their boys, Drew & Reid. Yikes! I had so much fun watching them have fun. They are big into baseball and played a little catch (and also some football) over at Flagpole Hill. And let me just tell you... I was might impressed with Stacie's skills! I always love seeing you guys!

Here are just a few favorites from their third session with Tracy Allyn Photography. See their previous sessions here and here.

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day {Dallas Baby & Child Photographer}

Somedays this photographer wakes up and wonders how in the world she is going to shoot on such a cold and cloudy day with two little ones?   But then again, these little beauties could bring sunshine to any cloudy day!  I love when I get to see Jessica and her beautiful daughters, Matilda and Lucinda.   I am so lucky to get to photograph them about once a year, especially since they are now California girls!  We had a lot of fun at Flagpole Hill, despite their hands getting pretty chilly.  And we started off with a new studio tour!

Enjoy your preview Jessica and Ron!

Toddler Energy {Dallas Family Photographer}

When Leslie first contacted me she warned me that Jonathan was timid.  But I think he warmed up quite nicely.  Oh, how I love this age.   16 months old and getting more and more sure footed, Jonathan epitomized toddler energy.  He had a great time exploring and running back and forth between Matthew and Leslie while we tried to capture a family portrait.  But sit still?  Forget about it!  Call me crazy but I love sessions like this, because it really shows where a child is at that point in his life.   Such spontaneity... how can you not go along with whatever this cutie wants to do?  And we did get some fun shots of them all playing at the park.

Enjoy your preview guys!

Little Pros {Dallas Child Photographer}

After years and years of portrait shoots (okay I'm exagerating) these girls are like little pros.   I always love seeing Lauren and Lindsey.   I've told youMy friend, Heather's girls are so sweet and this session took no time at all.  Just a quick afternoon at Flagpole Hill.  Of course, by the time we got to my favorite prairie grass shots they were already starting to get silly.  But not before we got some great shots!

Enjoy your preview, Heather and Jim!

Double Deep Ellum Day {Dallas Child & Family Photographer}

Recently I spent two sessions in one day in Deep Ellum... it is a great place for a session, whether it is children, baby, family, engagement, or senior portraits!   It just so happened that the two clients I had that Sunday each wanted to try an urban session.  And the coincidences didn't stop there... both families also had two boys and they were both the same ages!  How weird (and cool) is that?!?

So that morning I met up with Stacie and Trent and their two beautiful boys.  What a gorgeous family!  We tried a few in Deep Ellum and then headed over to Flagpole Hill near White Rock Lake for a little nature.

Later that afternoon I met up with Amy and Wes and their cute boys.  We stayed around Deep Ellum and tried a few locations I haven't shot at, like the Latino Cultural Center... love those orange walls!!!  And the boys loved running around!  Active, active, active... and fun!   Here are a few from Deep Ellum, part deux...
