This session is near and dear to my heart. My niece, Kelsey, and her boyfriend asked me to photograph them with their dogs a few weeks ago. Boo (the little white dog) has been a member of the family for quite some time. But the new redhead, Bogey (daddy, Brady is a golfer!) just joined them a few months ago. What I didn't know was that before they could even get their prints in, this couple would be engaged! They have been together since high school and all of these years later, we can't imagine Brady NOT becoming a part of the family! So happy for them both... Or all four of them!
This beauty has been in front of my camera a few times over the years. I loved photographing Grace as a young teen with her best friend, for family portraits, for her 8th grade graduation, and now for her senior year. I am thrilled for her that she is going to college in London... Her favorite city! Not only did we have a great time photographing some urban and field shots in the evening light for her senior session... You will see her again on the blog for her Hockaday graduation ceremony and portraits that I also had the privilege of shooting. We put together an amazing album that included both senior portraits and graduation images. These are just a few of them that we included.
It is always fun to see Martin and Rebecca, too. Goof around for the camera a bit? Sure, why not! And yes, this series did make it into the album!
It's always good not to take life too seriously. Anthony is one of those guys that loves to be a little goofy and we had a great time shooting his senior pictures! Here are just a few of his silly side... With him taking the girls wearing flowers in your hair in a field thing to a whole new level. Somehow he still manages to pull it off.
Congratulations on graduating from Bishop Lynch this weekend, Anthony! I know you will have a blast at Oklahoma University in the fall!
Can you guess where this beautifully cool Dallas senior is going to college after she graduates from Hockaday next month? She is heading across the pond to her favorite city of London!
Congratulations Grace! I'm honored to have taken your senior pictures and can't wait to photograph your graduation. Will share more from both shoots after the ceremony!
Class of 2016 seniors, book your session with Tracy Allyn Photography!
We have another snow day here in Dallas... In March! Can you believe it? Last night we gained 4" of beautiful fluffy powder (on top of some ice) and the kids all have the day off from school. But this time I don't plan on heading outside... It is a wind chill of 9 degrees out there and I'm a Texas born and raised wimp! So today is the perfect day for me to sit inside and realize just how many sessions I have yet to blog and get around to some of them. Some are from awhile back!
First up, Mindy and her handsome sons, Connor and Logan. I photographed Connor when he was just a little baby so I was thrilled that I got to see him "grown up" at 5 years old and meet 3 year old Logan. Logan had some hilarious expressions! Kind of an "I'm up to something" smirk that is so true for little boys and he was very into showing me his muscles. Connor had the posing down pat and was great at corralling his brother! Both of them are so sweet. Loved seeing you again, Mindy!
