The Clark Family {Dallas Portraits in Architecture}

Our Dallas skyline is absolutely incredible! Several years ago the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava, made it even more so. I love driving over the bridge in either direction over the Trinity River, especially at night with the top down on my car! The pedestrian Continental Avenue Bridge provides a fantastic view of this skyline architecture and also happens to be a fun spot for portraits. Definitely, a great location that you can even finish up at Trinity Groves for dinner or drinks after the shoot to make an evening of it!

A little while back, The Clarks and I took advantage of a beautiful, warm evening for their family portraits and the boys even enjoyed some climbing on the bridge's park structures. I love the warm light of the setting sun on their faces!  And if you are looking for ways to style your outfits, their oranges and blues with mixed solids and patterns were fantastic!

Matt, Sara, & Crew {Dallas Family Photographer}

When Sara and I talked on the phone about what she was looking for in a session she mentioned she wanted an urban location and the key thing she said was, "we're a crazy, fun family."  Ummmm... She wasn't kidding!  This crew was such a blast to photograph.  Matt, Sara, and the kids (Hollyn, Noah, & Hannah) were up for anything.  There was running, jumping, some tickling, and a little faux fighting.  Mix in some pure portraits and voila... A session we all loved.  At the end their perfectly styled selves were worn out and they relaxed... But that ham, Noah?  That eye open and thumb up was all him! Cracks me up.

Jeremy, Lindsay, & Crew {Dallas Family Photography}

A few days ago I shared a sweet and playful series of Jeremy & Lindsay kissing with their kiddos, Jack, Hazel, and Collin, in the foreground.  Ahem... You may have caught onto this already from my website portfolio and blog, but I am a huge sucker for kissing photos!  So it won't be a surprise if you see a few more in the other images from their session.

When Lindsay contacted me she said she wanted something playful in a modern setting.  Perfect!  In fact, right up my alley!  We planned for an outing in the Dallas Arts District and finished up with the playground at Klyde Warren Park.  The park can get quite crowded but luckily, with the warm weather and early sunrise lately, we started early and beat the crowds... Unless you count the boot camp that was going on on the park lawn!  The kids really enjoyed themselves at both locations and the shoot was a ton of fun for me, too!  I love this crew!  Between the smiles, giggles, snuggles, and gazes we had some really funny expressions.  I love the crazy look Jack is giving the family in one shot!  And what kids don't love to finish a shoot running through water?  I was tempted to myself!

Thank you so much for a fun-filled morning, Lindsay & Jeremy!
