I love it when sessions just make me smile. This is one of those sessions. Chris and Tesha are so in love and they just simply adore each other and celebrate with portraits. I've photographed them a few times now and each time I am in awe of the way he looks at her. Here are a few from a recent shoot with them.
This session is near and dear to my heart. My niece, Kelsey, and her boyfriend asked me to photograph them with their dogs a few weeks ago. Boo (the little white dog) has been a member of the family for quite some time. But the new redhead, Bogey (daddy, Brady is a golfer!) just joined them a few months ago. What I didn't know was that before they could even get their prints in, this couple would be engaged! They have been together since high school and all of these years later, we can't imagine Brady NOT becoming a part of the family! So happy for them both... Or all four of them!
I love a good love story. Kristen and Scott knew each other in high school, but they didn't date then. However, they eventually found their way home (in Phoenix) and found their way together. Now, living in Dallas, this spring they welcomed an absolutely beautiful baby girl. Congratulations on your precious family!
Recently my dearest best friend, Jenn, and her husband, Chris, contacted me to give a very special engagement gift of photography... Chris' younger brother, Curtis, has found his perfect love in Sally! I have known Curtis since he was 14 (woah!) and I was so thrilled to meet Sally. Although, I felt a bit like I should tell her welcome to the family myself since Jenn and I are practically sisters! We headed to a location that I have been wanting to shoot at for some time that is very near to their home and it was everything I hoped it would be! Loved it and definitely hope to shoot there again sometime!
Curtis and Sally will be married this fall... So happy for them!
I think (although I may be biased) that portrait photography is an incredible present!

Fall is such a crazy time for us photographers, so it stands to reason that it is pretty darn near impossible to blog every session. Tonight I started looking back through images that I never got around to sharing here. These are just a few from one such session. Sarika and her hubby treated their whole family to a large group portrait session. Such a sweet gift and wanted to share a few from that very cold November afternoon of this generous couple.
