Oh my goodness... How this blog has been neglected for far too long! Apologies, apologies! In the absence of posts, I've been busy! Spring was filled with seniors from Class of 2016 as well as plenty of new and already known families. Summer continued with new Class of 2017 seniors and a lot of architectural photography! I promise I'll blog some of those... Can't all be about people! But, today it is. This beauty is Kylie, Class of 2016. She is now actually on the road traveling and performing with Up With People. How cool is that? I loved photographing her in the very late spring and then followed it up the following month with family portraits with her mom and dad and her handsome brothers... And their adorable dog! I'll share those next but for now, here are some of her favorites from her senior portraits.
This little guy has been so fun to see grow over the years. I first photographed Ryder with his parents, John and Tracy, when Ryder was just a little baby! I'm talking like at 3 months old. This is our fourth session together. His expressions crack me up and we all had a blast with the Arts District as our playground. I know Ryder was thrilled to splash at the Winspear Opera House... Can you believe this was in January? Only in Texas!
It is always a thrill when friends ask you to photograph their family, and this one I go way back with. I've know them since Lukas was just a baby so it is so fun to look at little Alex and see how much she looks like he did. She was the star of the show for this shoot in the Arts District.
Soon I hope to post a picture of how their living room canvas collection turned out installed in their beautiful home!
Yes friends, sometimes it's what is happening just out of frame that counts! Love this family!!!

Every session with Jenny, Matt, and their boys, Aiden and Logan, is always an adventure! They make me laugh and help me get my exercise (urban photography style) for the day with all of their energy. Seriously, their rough and tumble spirit mixed with the occasional hug is exactly the way brothers should be. But man, these boys need to stop growing!
Don't forget... It's time to book your family portraits for this fall!
Available dates for September, October, and November are almost full!
