Farrell Dining Hall at PVAMU {Architectural Photography}

Prairie View A&M University's new Farrell Dining Hall sports an industrial chic interior that blends bold colors with warm wood accents. It upholds the University's legacy and history while making an exciting new dining atmosphere for students. GSR Andrade Architects preserved and highlighted historical aspects of the existing building by incorporating the original laundromat scale as a feature in the dining space and created a vibrant mural depicting the historic campus with an image of the building's namesake, Henrietta Farrell. GSR Andrade and Archer Construction & Design partnered on this modern food hub that also includes a Grab-And-Go deli and laundry facilities to address multiple college student needs.

Ave 900 {GSR Andrade Architects}

It isn't often enough that I post architectural image projects on my blog. And yes, I really need to change that! Recently, I photographed Ave 900, a multi-family complex in Euless, Texas for GSR Andrade Architects. The team designed some really nice spaces for their tenants, such as a fantastic pool area, hip clubhouse, nice picnic area, and dog parks for big and little dogs. Check out a few of the images below.

First Choice Emergency, Cedar Hill by GSR Andrade Architects

Published: Harry Stone Recreation Center {Dallas Architectural Photography}

If you live in East Dallas, you may have happened upon GSR Andrade Architects' recent renovation of the Harry Stone Recreation Center.  I was honored to photograph the interior and exterior for the firm and was thrilled to see that the project has been published in the fall issue of Columns Magazine by AIA Dallas.  Congratulations on the feature, GSR Andrade!

While I was photographing the project it was fantastic to see so many children and adults from the neighborhood really enjoying the newly renovated center.  Many of them approached and said how much they loved the design.

Below are a few more images of the fantastic blue glass panels.

I Like to Torture Them... {Dallas Corporate Headshot Photographer}

My poor family... if they happen to be around you can bet I'm going to make them stand in for a quick lighting test shot or go on a location scout.  But that's okay... they love me anyway.  Last week I was shooting some headshots over at GSR Andrade Architects, which just so happens to be the architecture firm my husband, Rob, is with.  So, poor guy is just trying to have his morning coffee and I strike with the, "please stand here for me."  But hey, I put a ring on it so it's okay, right?   He's kinda cute... I think I'll keep him.
