Kirk, Olga, and Ian {Dallas Family Photographer}

Oh blog... How I have neglected you this fall.  It has been a busy season full of seeing so many of my beloved established clients and meeting so many new ones.

This family is one that I was honored to meet and photograph this fall.  They were so much fun as we moved from spot to spot along a one block stretch in Deep Ellum.  Ian is going to keep them on their toes and keep 'em young... Definitely one of the cutest sack o' potatoes (his fave way for Dad to carry him) that I have ever seen.  He is adorable!  But what I loved most about the session is how much in love with each other and with their sweet little family I could tell the both Olga and Kirk were.  Thanks for bringing that through in your images, guys!

Jay, Natalie, Lukas, and Alex {Dallas Family Photographer}

It is always a thrill when friends ask you to photograph their family, and this one I go way back with.  I've know them since Lukas was just a baby so it is so fun to look at little Alex and see how much she looks like he did.  She was the star of the show for this shoot in the Arts District.
Soon I hope to post a picture of how their living room canvas collection turned out installed in their beautiful home!

Chris, Julie, & Gavin {Dallas Child & Family Photographer}

Every time I look at the pictures from this fun, urban session in Deep Ellum I am completely taken back to when my own son couldn't leave home without Thomas or Percy.  Those iconic trains rank almost (okay, not quite) as high as Legos when it comes to awesome toys for boys!  Gavin is such a cute little guy with a giant grin that I adore.  Thanks so much for spending a morning in the heat of the summer with me, Julie & Chris.  I had a blast meeting the three of you!

Drew, Alyson, & Haily + {Ft. Worth Family Photography}

It is always so great seeing this family!!!   We met up in Ft. Worth this time for a fun morning session.  Even though I grew up in Hurst, it seems the metroplex changes so fast.  I haven't been to downtown Ft. Worth in awhile so I was thrilled with the suggestion from them that we shoot at the new(-ish) Sundance Square Plaza.  Haily was really loving the fountains on that chilly morning.  And a little cold couldn't stop Drew & Haily from playing in the water!

I loved following cute Haily while she played with (and dragged) her puppy toy.  We actually had two puppies at the shoot... Drew, Alyson, & Haily's real puppy, Baer, came along for some camera time.  Baer is a Deutsch Drathaar, a breed I had never heard of, and he is so beautiful!  Clearly they both have Mom & Dad wrapped around their fingers... And legs.  Good thing Alyson's mom came to help with puppy duty when he wasn't in the shot, so I was fortunate to meet her and get a portrait of Haily with Grandma, too!

A few more... Love the range of smiles and high fives to serious looks on Haily.  She had one fall but Daddy Drew was right there to kiss her and make it all better.  And everything is awesome when it ends with a lollipop!
